festival fever!

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably counting down the days until you get to go to your summer festival this year. First on our list was seeing Prince at the Hop Farm Festival – it was a cracking night, and Prince’s style never fails to disappoint! We had a lovely customer in store this week who was heading off to the Port Eliot Literary Festival in Cornwall, and was in need of some festival gear, so we decided that we should let you know what our festival must-haves are too!

Lets face it ladies, when you’re staying in a tent and the line-up starts early, the last thing you want to be doing is fussing about what you are going to wear! So what you need are things you can throw on – simple, easy-to-wear pieces. We recommend a basic tee – the ones by Fine Collection and American Vintage are light and seriously comfortable. The layering concept of American Vintage is perfect for festivals, so put on one of their super soft Massachussets vests under one of their long-sleeved Massachussets tees and you will be ready for anything! Now for the bottom half – you can’t go wrong with a pair of our Nobody or Hudson jeans, or if you’re feeling summery – the Darling April shorts featured in the last blog!

Now for our absolute must-have for festivals – Minnetonka boots and moccasins! You can’t get more boho than these beauties! What’s more, is they’re incredibly comfortable, so you and your feet can keep dancing away all day and all night! These boots are not available online yet, but pop into our shops or give us a buzz on the phone and we will happily tell you about them. Don’t forget to finish off your look with lots of bangles, and enjoy!
