Bring in the Spring with Pretty Pastels!

Pastel colours are having a serious moment on the spring/summer catwalks this year, and because our buyers strive to offer you a collection that reflects key trends, bod & ted is indulging you in a great selection of clothes in pretty pastels. But, as the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding, and if our customers reactions are anything to go by, these shades are a brilliant breath of fresh air! So…if you are bored of wearing black and want to lift your wardrobe out of the dark ages, pastels are a great way to go!

If you are an American Vintage fan then our selection of basic tees are just the ticket! You name the colour, we’ve got it! We have a fabulous selection of Massachusetts vests and tees (with more colours arriving weekly), and like all American Vintage pieces they are great for layering, so mixing and matching your colours couldn’t be easier!

Two of our new brands, Bruuns Bazaar and Maison Scotch are also getting in on the action!  Amongst other things, Maison Scotch have created a classic chino trouser in pastel shades, which are already a favourite with our customers in Tunbridge Wells. All of the Maison Scotch Chinos with Braid are unbelievably soft and comfortable and come in  honey, mermaid green, acid pink and navy. Teamed with another pastel coloured tee, such as the American Vintage Jacksonville Tee in Jeans, these will become a wardrobe favourite let me tell you!

Another favourite of ours this season is the gorgeous Bruuns Bazaar Maxi Jersey Dress in Orange. A good maxi dress is a great thing to have in your summer wardrobe, and because its in a stunning pastel orange shade you will definitely feel bright and beautiful!

By Malene Birger has indulged in the baby blues this season, which are going down a treat with our customers (and staff!) The designs are classic and simple and so easy-to-wear, so there really isn’t a reason not to love them all! Our favourites are the By Malene Birger Essiu Pullover and the By Malene Birger Aldonas Top in Sky Blue. The Essiu pullover is simple, versatile and oh-so-chic and the Aldonas Top is all about elegance with its soft draping and feminine cut.

And last but definitelty not least, the ever popular Odd Molly has created a great collection of embroidered blouses, feminine dresses and cosy knits in soft pastel pinks and pale blues. These are all light and comfortable and perfect for summer, and that bit of boho charm always hits the spot! The Odd Molly Lorraine Dress in Vintage Rose will be a great addition to your wardrobe, and the Odd Molly Cotton Lite Poplin Smock in Light Blue will definitely keep you cool and comfortable this season.
