the bod & ted team…meet Amy!

How would you describe your style?

I think I’m quite casual when it comes to my dress sense, I definitely go first and foremost for comfort. I wear A LOT of black and in general quite muted colours, which I then like to accessorize with interesting pieces of jewellery or a bright scarf. I think a LBD is an essential item for anyone’s wardrobe!

What designers are you particularly fond of?

Rag & Bone, Burberry, Jonathan Saunders

Whose style do you admire?

I think Emma Stone always dresses really well. She looked incredible at the CDFA/ Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2012.

Is there a particular trend you are buying into for the winter season?

I got quite into the whole stud craze and I will always love anything in leather.  I’m also really liking the  brocade or lace detailing that’s quite popular at the moment, I think it looks really pretty and sophisticated.

What was your biggest fashion faux pas?

When I was about 11, I went to Singapore and came home with an array of linen tie-dye trousers in different colours for me and my friends; mine were bright purple. We all thought we looked really cool in them, looking back we definitely didn’t.

Tell us something we don’t know about you?

I have a ridiculous collection of leggings and tights, in about every colour, pattern, and material you can think of, they have their own drawer.

What is your favourite bod & ted piece from the A/W season?

It’s definitely a toss up between the Maison Scotch sequin ‘a’ sweat top or the By Malene Birger lufiendes gold shirt which I think would be perfect matched with some black skinny jeans or a black skirt.
