Met Gala 2013: Best Dressed

Last night a-listers turned up in their masses to attend one of the most coveted events of the year, the annual Met Gala. This year the event marked the opening of the PUNK: Chaos to Couture exhibition and it was great to see so many celebrities embracing the theme and rocking the red carpet. 

Here are our top 5 outfits from the red carpet…

Our number 5 spot goes to the beautiful Brooklyn Decker who rocked the red-carpet in Peter Pilotto proving punk can be chic. With such a a dramatic theme it was refreshing to see some colour.

Number 4 - Rooney Mara

In at number 4, co-chair Rooney Mara who looked gorgeous in a Givenchy Couture by Riccardo Tisci custom-made white plunging gown. The zip detailing, slicked back up do and dramatic plum lips created a rocking look!

Number 3 - Emma Watson

Simple, sexy and on theme, Emma Watson gets our number three spot. She embraced an edgier look in this sexy cut out Prabal Gurung custom-made gown. We love how she kept accessories to a minimum, finishing of her look with a single statement earring.

Number 2 - Taylor Swift

In at number 2, Taylor Swift who ditched her usual girl next door look for an edgier ensemble.  She looked stunning in her J.Mendel black silk gown which featured sexy lace inserts and a dramatic embellished neckline. Harry Styles must be feeling pretty gutted right now.

Our number one spot goes to Cara Delevigne who smouldered in this studded plunge neck column dress by Burberry and Dominic Jones spike jewellery. The perfect example of punk meets couture!
