The 2015 SAG Awards – Red Carpet Round Up
This years awards season started off for me stateside, where I caught glimpses of the Golden Globes between bites of enchiladas and sips of jalepeno magharitas! I am glad that I can now catch the rest of the shows from the comfort of my own sofa where I can properly ogle at all the gorgeous gowns! And next up was the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards held on Sunday, and as per usual, here are our 5 top looks from the night:
Our #5 place goes to a lady who doesn’t seem to make it onto this list for us very often, but last night she pulled out all the stops in this drop dead gorgeous Georges Hobeika Couture dress. This dress is exquisite, a work of art! And we love the simple, sexy hair to play down the girliness of the dress.
We’ve always admired Emma Stone’s sense of style both on and off the red carpet, but this awards season so far, she has absolutely killed it with two androgynous-inspired looks that are anything but masculine. We love how she has taken a risk in this tuxedo-style Dior Couture dress featuring a black chiffon sheer skirt with a tailored crepe jacket. Gorgeous! Our #4!
If you’ve got it, flaunt it, and Miss Aniston most definitely has it…in spades! This beautiful vintage Galliano dress showed her figure off to perfection, and we love that Fred Leighton necklace. She may not have won an award but she definitely won in the style stakes! Finished off with simple hair and killer tan, she has gained our #3 spot!
I feel like this is what I would want to wear if I were nominated for a Best Actress SAG Award, demure and elegant. Felicity Jones stunned in this chic pastel pink wide shouldered Balenciaga gown. A sleek bun and pearl earrings finished off the look, definitely worthy of our #2 spot!
I’ve been a big fan of Sophia Bush since her One Tree Hill days and find it hard to believe that a lady this beautiful could look bad in anything! But at this years SAG Awards, she has taken our #1 spot in strapless Vivienne Westwood. Old school Hollywood glamour at its finest!
